Based on two alternative technological scenarios, angioplasty/atherectomy and primary stent procedures are projected through 2020 in the aortoiliac, femoropopliteal and tibioperoneal vascular regions. The optimistic case reflects primary stenting gaining share, while in the pessimistic case primary stenting declines.
An evaluation of the dollar value of the current endovascular device market is also included, which features a comparison of size and share by device type in 1997, 2003 and 2005.
